Kotobukiya RoboCop

RoboCop is a 1987 sci-fi/action movie, directed by Paul Verhoeven and staring Peter Weller as Alex Murphy, a dedicated police officer who is transformed into a cyborg police officer (you can checkout the review of Hot Toys RoboCop here and Hot Toys RoboCop 3 with Flight Pack here)

This is Kotobukiya's RoboCop mini figure which measures just 4 inches tall (10 cm high) but the amount of details they managed to pack into it is simply amazing!

RoboCop's helmet provides several useful features such as thermal vision, lie detector, and a video and audio recorder. He can also access computers directly using a retractable input/output jack built into his right hand (this was one of the accessories that came with Hot Toys Movie Masterpiece 1/6 scale 12-inch RoboCop figure).

RoboCop is equipped with an enhanced Beretta semi-automatic pistol (the Auto-9), with large caliber and burst mode. When he's not using his pistol he stores it in a retractable holster built into his right thigh (this feature is available with Hot Toys RoboCop figures as well). RoboCop has an automated targeting system, thus making him an excellent sharpshooter.

Kotobukiya's RoboCop's Auto-9 is a tad big but still looks NICE overall

RoboCop's external-skeleton is made out of titanium and is bullet-proof. It can even deflect light explosives under specific conditions. His hands and legs are enhanced by hydraulic motors enable him to crush a human throat with his grip and break through concrete walls.

Although made of plastic, the paint job on Kotobukiya's RoboCop makes him look metallic and even has a sheen  to it.

RoboCop is programmed to follow three prime directives:
1. Preserve the public trust
2. Protect the innocent
3. Uphold the law
